中元瀑布位于杨平郡龙门面中元寺东边的中元溪谷里。瀑布为三段式，高约10米，像屏风一般将周围的奇岩绝壁和碧绿的水潭拥入怀抱，形成了一道亮丽的风景线。中元瀑布是夏季游客非常喜欢前往的景点之一。
